TrippyCaPeVremuri 2025 is a caravan\u2014now in its fourth edition\u2014dedicated to young people in Romania, designed to support their development through non-formal education, mentoring, and community-building activities.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The project aims to address the lack of face-to-face interaction and opportunities for personal development among young people, a problem exacerbated by excessive screen time and social disengagement.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Through nonformal education tools, we create safe spaces for people to connect with one another and, most importantly, with themselves. Nonformal education uses holistic and experiential methods that aim to engage the learner\u2019s body, mind, and emotions, making self-reflection and personal development essential. <\/span><\/p>\n

    The purpose of the meeting is to establish a common understanding of the project framework among the partner organizations and to review specific details such as: objectives, roles and responsibilities, the project timeline, the budget, tools and strategies for project management, financial management, deadlines, quality assurance, evaluation, and communication. During this meeting, we will review our Internal Partnership Agreement (IPA) to verify that all points are still relevant at the time of implementation and, if necessary, update the IPA. The lead partner will provide all necessary documentation and templates to ensure efficient workflows and seamless financial management. <\/span><\/p>\n

    The purpose of this project is to identify and evaluate non-formal methods that address the specific needs of local and international youth. The project lasts 6 months and is implemented in 3 phases: <\/p>\n

    Phase 1<\/strong>: An initial survey is conducted to develop the beta version of the app. This survey is promoted online, both locally and internationally, using Google Forms, and the questions are translated into both English and the local languages spoken by the local target groups. Once all responses are collected (50 local responses for each community and 100 international responses), youth workers meet to compare the survey results with the needs assessment conducted during the application phase (which was already conducted using Google Forms). This will help determine whether the needs identified during the planning phase are still relevant or have changed. <\/p>\n

    Phase 2<\/strong>: It consists of four in-person meetings held in each local community. There, youth workers engage local young people aged 18\u201330 in non-formal activities designed based on the identified needs. The workshops proposed by the youth workers are conducted using methods related to mindfulness and emotional intelligence, with the aim of supporting young people in achieving reconnection and self-reflection. This second phase concludes with a fifth meeting dedicated to evaluating the activities with the young people. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Phase 3<\/strong>: This phase involves drafting a booklet containing specific, proven methods to be used to help young people achieve self-care in each local community. This booklet is written by youth workers from each local community involved in the project. This phase concludes with a brainstorming session to gather ideas for implementing the tools in an online environment. <\/span><\/p>\n

    The main outcome of this activity is insight into the applicability of non-formal methods designed to support young people in developing self-care and self-reflection in an online environment. With this outcome, we aim to reach young people who, due to personal or professional obligations, do not have the opportunity to participate in international mobility programs or participatory activities. Building on the lessons we learned during our digital experience while in lockdown, we want to provide a tool that gives everyone access to non-formal methods for self-care and self-reflection. <\/span><\/p>\n

    This project demonstrates the replicability and long-term sustainability of an educational app, by training 20 youth workers to apply their methods in a digital context, adapting the app to the changing needs of young people and to the developed non-formal methods. This confirms that the app can continuously evolve to effectively meet the needs of young people. <\/p>\n

    The results of this initiative include expanding the team of youth workers capable of using and promoting the app, by adding 20 trained youth workers to the 12 app developers, who are prepared to train other youth workers and teachers in the future. In addition, the project will raise awareness among at least 400 people, including teachers and students, about the importance of self-care and knowledge of self-help tools, while also promoting awareness of the Erasmus+ program and international mobility opportunities. <\/p>\n
