The project is entitled πŠπŽππ”πƒπŽ – 𝐈𝐧 π‹πžπšππžπ«π¬π‘π’π©: 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐒𝐳𝐒𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐑𝐞 𝐦𝐒𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 and took place in SlΔƒnic Moldova, BacΔƒu, Romania, between 1 – 11.06 2022.
The project involved 28 youth workers to acquire knowledge and skills in creating a connection between mind and body through activities carried out with non-formal methods, learning through practice and direct experience.

Drd. Cristian Laiber – master, practitioner and researcher in the field of traditional martial arts, continuator of the traditions of the ancient samurai, Director of the Arts Center Martial Arts and Oriental Culture Studies – Raiden Dojo Bucharest, 30 years of experience as a close disciple of the most famous masters of martial arts in Japan, China and Taiwan.
Drd. Mircea Gorunescu – scholar, practitioner and researcher in the field of classical Japanese and Chinese martial arts, ancient therapies and meditation methods; researcher in the field of History and Psychology with research projects on the knowledge of the human mind, from the past to the present.

Objectives

O1. To practice and acquire martial arts techniques that stimulate self-discipline, concentration, awareness skills for the TC period. These skills, developed by YW, are meant to cultivate an attitude that supports the social inclusion of vulnerable groups of young people.

O2. Practice and learn meditation techniques that improve self-awareness skills, thought processes, communication patterns, behavior, positive attitude and clarity for the duration of the training course. These skills developed by YW will encourage better communication between young people from diverse or marginalized backgrounds.

O3. To create a series of videos to be uploaded to the organization’s website as free premium content to reach as many young people as possible with few opportunities and resources.

O4. To create and strengthen a network of organizations, a partnership of European workers to work closely with the EU Youth Strategy to engage and become active citizens in democracy and society.
